Pedestrian Struck Dead By Passenger Bus In Harrisburg: Officials

A pedestrian was hit and killed by a passenger bus at a busy Harrisburg intersection, PennDOT officials said on Saturday, Dec. 6.

The person was struck at the intersection of Cameron and Market streets around 4 p.m., according to a PennDOT email citing Harrisburg City Police on Saturday, Dec. 6.

Cameron Street was listed as closed in the area following the crash, PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler said on Saturday, Dec. 6.

No other information about the victim or circumstances of the crash was immediately available on Saturday, Dec. 6.
