WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - After over a month, Wichita Police say there are no new updates in connection to the investigation of a youth football game shooting at Wichita park that left a well-loved coach dead.

The shooting happened on Thursday, Oct. 23, at Dr. Glen Dey Park during a youth football game. 32-year-old Travon Stewart of Wichita was killed. Police say an argument broke out near the field before shots were fired.

No suspect has been identified in connection to the deadly shooting.

"Homicide investigators responded to the scene and interviewed witnesses who remained in the area," a previous release said. "Detectives believe this was a targeted shooting and not connected to the youth football games."

Police have previously said there is no threat to the public.
