Jon Pardi Steals the Show At the Big 12 Championship

AT&T hosted the 2025 Big 12 Championship

Country star Jon Pardi took the field for a halftime performance Friday at AT&T Stadium, where Texas Tech and BYU will meet Saturday in the Big 12 Championship Game with College Football Playoff implications on the line.

Texas Tech, led by coach Joey McGuire, rolled through the regular season at 11-1 behind one of the nation’s most explosive offenses and stingiest defenses, and a win would all but lock up a CFP berth. BYU, also 11-1 under Kalani Sitake, gets a second shot at the Red Raiders after a November loss in Lubbock and likely needs a victory to force its way into the 12‑team playoff field.
