LEXINGTON — Facing its toughest test of the playoffs, the Trinity High School football team relied on its foundation — strong running game, stout defense — to win another state championship.
Jamaurion Berry rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Shamrocks to a 28-14 victory over South Warren in Saturday’s Class 6A final in front of 5,758 at the University of Kentucky’s Kroger Field.
