Alabama fell to Georgia, 28-7, in Saturday's SEC championship game in Atlanta. Does that tank the team's College Football Playoff hopes for 2025?
Not necessarily! Alabama can still make it in with an at-large bid, depending on what the selection committee decides for teams like Miami and Notre Dame.
Alabama's third loss probably wouldn't hurt it as much since it happened against Georgia and in a conference title game. You never know what the committee is thinking, but brand names like Alabama typically get the benefit of the doubt.
Now, the Crimson Tide didn't play particularly well against Georgia, which could benefit other teams on the bubble. However, the time Alabama got in over Florida State makes us think the committee will be more generous with the SEC powerhouse.

Don't fret, Crimson Tide fans. Your team will still probably get into the College Football Playoff.
