STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — An overturned vehicle in Charleston drew an emergency response and prompted a temporary road closure on Saturday night.
The incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. on Arthur Kill Road adjacent the Lowe’s Home Improvement just west of Bloomingdale Road.
A white Toyota 4Runner was seen flipped on its side, with parts of its shattered front bumper scattered about the curb following the crash.
Police officers on scene were observed flipping the vehicle upright shortly after the crash occurred.
The incident resulted in a temporary road closure on Arthur Kill Road, from Bloomingdale Road to Sharrotts Road, but the street has since reopened to traffic.
