BOON, MI – A candlelight vigil for Rebecca Park and her unborn son was held Saturday evening in Boon Township.

As the story of their tragic deaths continues to make national headlines, and the investigation unfolds, friends and family wanted to create a way to remember Park.

“I want people to remember her for the good person she was,” said her friend, Caleb Hudson, 29. “She was a beautiful soul.”

Rebecca, 22, loved music and crafts and she loved to sing. She also enjoyed gardening. “She could grow anything,” said Stephanie Park, who adopted Rebecca and her two siblings when Rebecca was just a year old.

Her favorite flowers were always poppies.

Rebecca Park went missing on Nov. 3. At the time, police have said she was about 38-weeks pregnant with her son.
