PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man is in custody after allegedly admitting to making threats against a Maricopa County career services office.
On Friday afternoon, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office learned that a potential threat was made against an ARIZONA@WORK office. The facility, operated by Maricopa County Human Services , offers job and employment services across the state. Details about what threat was made were not immediately available.
Detectives from MCSO’s Threat Management Unit identified the suspect as 49-year-old Daniel White. Around 9 p.m., detectives found White at a home in Phoenix. While speaking with detectives, he allegedly admitted to sending “threatening communication” to ARIZONA@WORK.
White was arrested and is facing a felony charge for making a terrorist threat.
