Tragedy struck in Goa, India's prominent tourist attraction, as at least 23 people lost their lives in a nightclub fire, according to state chief minister Pramod Sawant. The fire erupted around 12:04 a.m. in Arpora, resulting in immediate emergency response.

Ambulances swiftly arrived on the scene, with injured victims transported to local hospitals. Authorities worked tirelessly throughout the night to manage the crisis, ensuring the blaze was contained and all recovered bodies accounted for, as confirmed by the state police chief.
