Former Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy seemingly hinted at wanting to take over the reins of a struggling NFC team.

After a roller-coaster five-year term with the Cowboys, Mike McCarthy left the team in January following the expiration of his contract. The Super Bowl 45-winning head coach took the 2025 season off, with the plan of re-entering the HC cycle in 2026.

The Tennessee Titans and New York Giants will most certainly have HC openings after this season. They’re both vying for the worst record in football. The Titans fired Brian Callahan after a 1-5 start, and Brian Daboll was shown the door after a 2-8 start.
