Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Saturday announced a five-year industrial expansion blueprint to position the state as a key industrial hub in eastern India, targeting Rs 50 lakh crore in investments to boost economic growth and generate large-scale employment.

The plan was outlined during a high-level review of the Industries Department chaired by the CM at his official residence, where Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit detailed the ‘Bihar Industrial Sankalp’, a comprehensive roadmap featuring new manufacturing clusters, sector-specific parks and expanded skill training.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, Industries Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, senior bureaucrats and departmental heads.
