A Cuyahoga County grand jury indicted a Cleveland man, 37, last month on eight charges -- some with multiple counts -- stemming from a Nov. 1 incident at the Drury Inn & Suites involving an alleged attack on his live-in girlfriend.

Police responded to the hotel shortly before noon after the woman reported that the father of her unborn child had just fled after assaulting her and trashing their room.

He was wearing a GPS ankle bracelet after being paroled from prison on other felony convictions from 2020. Police also learned he was still known to carry weapons.
