A potent winter storm is making its presence known, bringing with it the potential for several inches of snow. The latest data suggests that areas along and south of I-90, particularly in northeastern Iowa, are most likely to see the heaviest accumulations, with some spots possibly getting 5 to 7 inches. This has prompted a Winter Storm Warning for those areas. For counties south of I-90, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect, anticipating 2 to 6 inches of snow. We're expecting the bulk of this snow to fall rather quickly, between 6 tonight and 3 tomorrow morning, so visibility will be reduced, and roads will become snow-covered and slick � definitely exercise caution if you have any travel plans.
