Amid the ongoing disruptions in IndiGo’s operations, the central government has directed the airline to trace and deliver all pending passenger baggage within the next 48 hours.

IndiGo has also been instructed to complete the full refund process for cancelled or stalled flights by 8 PM on December 7, officials said.

The directive came as more than 800 flights were cancelled on Saturday, leaving thousands of passengers stranded.

IndiGo said on Sunday that it has restored 95% of its route connectivity, operating 135 out of 138 destinations.

The airline admitted that it may take time to regain passengers' trust after the crisis. Meanwhile, the government has issued a show-cause notice to IndiGo CEO, asking for a reply within 24 hours.
