An emotional playoff victory over the Yale Bulldogs wasn’t enough to lighten the mood for Montana State Bobcats running back Julius Davis.

Montana State defeated Yale 21-13 in their second-round FCS playoff showdown. In a wild postgame scene, a frustrated Julius Davis was seen taking swipes at his own head coach and teammate.

During the postgame handshakes, Davis was seen exchanging words with a Bulldogs player. It’s unclear what was said between the two. But it was enough to prompt Montana State head coach Brent Vigen and cornerback Takhari Carr to step in and try to settle Davis down.

As Vigen tried to break up the scene, Julius Davis got angry at his coach and threw a swipe at him. Carr then stepped in and exchanged words with Davis, who shoved him away with his elbow:
