Vatican City: Pope Leo XIV met thousands of faithful at the Jubilee audience on Saturday and reminded them that Advent is not only a season of waiting but a time for active hope. Speaking in the Vatican, Pope reflected on the meaning of Advent during the Jubilee Year and encouraged Christians to stay alert to the presence of God in daily life.

He explained that waiting in faith does not mean being silent or passive. Instead, he said believers are called to open their eyes and hearts to the world around them.
