Russian forces have escalated their assault on Kremenchuk's infrastructure, launching an overnight air strike that has resulted in significant power and water outages, according to the city's mayor, Vitalii Maletskyi.

Kremenchuk, situated on the Dnipro River and home to one of Ukraine's largest oil refineries, is a key industrial hub and has been consistently targeted by Russian missiles.

The latest attack comes as part of Russia's intensified strategy to undermine Ukraine's public morale and disrupt industrial activities, especially with the country bracing for winter.
