DUBLIN – Trailing by double figures in the opening quarter, the Brownwood Lions rebounded and wrapped up play in the Dublin tournament with a 56-51 victory over Brady Saturday afternoon.
The Lions (5-4) were down 20-10 after one quarter and closed the gap to 31-24 at halftime before surging in front, 44-40, prior to the fourth period.
Brownwood received 10 points each from Elias Perez and Carson Noe, nine from Durham Brown, eight points from Cannon Calvert, seven from Judson Coalson, six from Bennett Windham four from Jordan Gilbert, and two points from Hayden Brumbelow.
The Lions next visit San Angelo Lake View at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.
