TACOMA, Wash — A 14-year-old boy died after he was shot inside a vehicle that later crashed in south Tacoma Friday afternoon , and an adult man has "turned himself in" to detectives claiming he was "involved in the shooting," according to Tacoma police.
Officers responded around 3 p.m. to the 6400 block of McKinley Avenue for reports of a vehicle collision. A short time later, police said they learned someone inside one of the vehicles may have been shot. When officers arrived, they found the teen and began lifesaving measures. Tacoma Fire crews transported him to a hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
