BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - For over 20 years, the Rotary Club of Bangor has invited local groups and community members to ring in the holiday season.

Saturday saw the Festival of Lights Parade downtown.

“It’s the highlight of the season. We are excited to be able to do it again,” describes past President of the Bangor Rotary Club Deb Sanford. “There’s 65 organizations here marching in the parade. We get about 10,000 people.”

Thousands lining the streets were able to enjoy dazzling displays, performances and more.

Not only does the Festival of Lights serve as a great way to get into the holiday spirit, but the giving spirit as well.
