The man who was arrested Wednesday for engaging in a police standoff near Millersburg was charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor Friday, according to online court records.
Antonio Watson, 37, of Warrensburg was charged with failing to register as a sex offender, resisting arrest and a misdemeanor drug possession.
Deputies were called to a residence in the 4400 block of Samantha Road for a failure-to-register warrant. A witness confirmed to law enforcement that Watson lived in the area, according to the probable cause statement.
Authorities arrived at 2:20 p.m. and Watson briefly opened the door eight minutes later once police started using a PA system, the statement says.
