Christopher Williams Sr.

JONESBORO — Christopher Williams Sr. was recently named the Clayton County Deputy Chief Operating Officer.

He has more than 24 years of experience ranging from government relations, community engagement, operations, utilities and strategic partnership development.

“He brings a strong record of building collaborative relationships with government officials, business leaders, community stakeholders and regional partners to support organizational goals and strengthen public service outcomes,” a Clayton County Government press release read.

Williams previously served as the Clayton County C-Suite designated liaison for MARTA program enhancements and transit service expansion initiatives.

He also held multiple leadership positions at Georgia Power.
