Mumbai, Dec 7: Flight disruptions across IndiGo’s network continued to ripple through the country on Saturday, with Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) reporting 146 cancellations by 8 pm. These included 70 arrivals and 76 departures. IndiGo, which operates nearly 400 flights daily from the airport, cancelled nearly 37% of its operations for the day.

CSMIA, one of India’s busiest airports, came under significant pressure as long queues and extended waiting hours inconvenienced thousands of passengers. To minimise hardship, airport authorities deployed a dedicated task force to retrieve checked-in baggage—a major logistical challenge amid hundreds of cancellations.
