INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana football defensive end Mikail Kamara was injured in the third quarter of the Big Ten title game.
The No 2 Hoosiers (12-0) defensive lineman appeared to suffer a lower body injury — he didn't put any of his weight on right leg as trainers helped him off the field — and went to the injury tent. Kamara, who was named All-Big Ten honorable mention this week, led IU with 46 quarterback pressures this season, per Pro Football Focus.
Daniel Ndukwe came into the game for Kamara the next time OSU had the ball, but Kamara checked back in as the Buckeyes cross midfield after a lengthy discussion with the training staff.
Indiana lost leading receiver Omar Cooper Jr. to an injury on the opening drive of the game. He suffered a leg injury and didn't return to the game.
