A 27-year-old has been arrested and faces preliminary charges of murder and battery with a deadly weapon in the Thanksgiving weekend stabbing death of a man at the Piere’s Entertainment Center.
The Fort Wayne Police Department Homicide Taskforce said Saturday that Immanuel Walker, 27, has been arrested in the Nov. 28 incident.
Walker was arrested at 9:01 p.m. without incident in a traffic stop in the area of 2600 Painted Desert Run, according to a news release. He is currently confined at the Allen County Jail.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office on Monday identified the male who was fatally stabbed at a local entertainment venue early Friday and declared the death a homicide.
Jermichael Lamarkeyes James, 28, died of stab and incised wounds to his torso. His death marks the 33rd homicide
