Lansing Community College offers free family photos with annual event

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -Community members received free family photos at Lansing Community College’s fifth annual photography event.

Students and staff at the college took pictures to help give back to the community during the holiday season.

Steve Robinson, president of Lansing Community College, said the event provides an important service for families.

“It is a way to give back,” said Robinson. “You know, not every family has the resources to go and make a professional photograph. And sometimes we talk to folks who haven’t set for a portrait for 10, 20, sometimes 30 years. So it’s really special and our photographers love giving back.”
