RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities say one person is dead after being struck by two vehicles in Richland County on Two Notch Road late Saturday afternoon.

Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 5:40 p.m. near the intersection of Two Notch Road and Fashion Drive. Ridgeway said a 2024 Dodge pickup truck and a 2022 Toyota SUV were both heading north on Two Notch Road when both struck a pedestrian who was in the roadway.

The drivers of the vehicles weren't injured, but the pedestrian died at the scene of the crash. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash. The Richland County Coroner's Office will be responsible for releasing the victim's name.
