The death toll from the massive fire at a club in Arpora, Goa, has climbed to 25, according to Goa Police on Sunday. Among the deceased, four have been identified as tourists and 14 as staff members. The identities of the remaining seven victims are still being determined, officials added.

Earlier, late-night blaze at a popular restaurant-club in Arpora turned deadly, claiming at least 23 lives, police said. The blaze was reported around midnight, prompting emergency teams to rush to the spot. Firefighters worked through the night to bring the situation under control, while the injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant called the tragedy “unfortunate” and assured that strict action would follow.
