MENTOR, Ohio (WOIO) - Lake County police chiefs and judges served non-alcoholic drinks and snacks to shoppers inside Great Lakes Mall at the 30th annual Protect & Serve Tavern Saturday afternoon.

The event served as a fun way to remind people to drive sober, especially around the holidays.

People also had the chance to try “Fatal Vision” goggles to see how alcohol can impact judgement and coordination.

It was hosted by the Lake County Crime Prevention Taskforce, Lake County Association of Chiefs of Police and Lake County Safe Communities Coalition.

19 News’ Caitlin McCarthy was a special guest server.
