CANTON, Ohio — The Liberty Center offense is known for running the football. But on Saturday, the Tigers flipped the script in a 35-3 win over Wheelersburg in the OHSAA Division V state championship game.
Any time the Tigers needed a play in the first half with the game in doubt, it was 6-foot-1 senior quarterback Kaden Kreinbrink making plays at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, allowing them to stay on track for a 15-0 season.
“When you look at how we got over the hump this year, our passing game was better this year than it’s been,” Liberty Center head coach Casey Mohler said. “A lot of that is Kaden, a lot of it is the receivers and the line, but it just meshed really well this year.”
