COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - When Texas A&M volleyball head coach Jamie Morrison walked off the court in Desert Financial Arena last season, after his Aggies knocked off Arizona State to advance to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, he learned that his team was good.
Saturday, as Morrison celebrated the same moment with his team for the second-straight season, he already knew the quality of his squad.
The third-seeded Aggies punched their ticket for another weekend of volleyball with a 3-1 win (23-25, 25-22, 25-23, 29-27) over No. 5 seed TCU in Reed Arena, becoming the first edition of the A&M volleyball team to pull of back-to-back trips to the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
