CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - Both West Texas A&M basketball teams defeated the Cameron Aggies at the First United Bank Center Saturday afternoon.
Lady Buffs take down Aggies, 85-48 after allowing only two first quarter points
The Lady Buffs soundly took care of business Saturday, never trailing Cameron in the matchup.
The team as a whole went 31-70 (44.3%) from the floor, 10-37 (27%) from the arc, and 13-16 (81.3%) from the charity stripe. They also tallied 55 rebounds compared to Cameron’s 28, 23 assists, seven steals and a block.
WT had three scorers in double-digits: Henley West (13), Taylor Haggan (10) and Kenadee Winfrey (10).
The Lady Buffs are now 8-1 on the year and 2-0 in conference play.
They will be on the road to UT Dallas to continue conference play on Dec. 13 at 1:00 p.m. CST
