The reserves fueled the Hawaii basketball team’s 69-59 victory over Cal State Fullerton tonight at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.

A crowd of 2,274 saw the Rainbow Warriors complete Bold Week — the Big West’s early-December games — with back-to-back victories to improve to 8-2 overall. The Titans fell to 3-7 and 0-2 in the Big West.

Forward Gytis Nemeiksa came off the UH bench to produce 12 points and 10 rebounds and reserve wing Isaac Finlinson added 11 points and five boards.

The Titans entered averaging 42.7 bench points in their first nine games. But the ’Bows outscored them 25-19 in bench points.

UH saw the Titans close to 53-47 with 10:18 to play. But Isaac “Big Fish” Johnson hit a free throw, and Nemeiksa followed with a lay-in and putback to restore the ’Bows’ double-digit
