Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday inaugurated 125 infrastructure projects of the Border Roads Organization (BRO) in Ladakh. He called it a major achievement for BRO and the center in strengthening border infrastructure.

Rajnath Singh said that with good roads, real-time communication, satellite support, surveillance network, and logistic support, our soldiers stand strong on the country's borders today. Strong connectivity played a key role in the success of Operation Sindoor.

He dedicated projects worth Rs 5000 crore to the nation, including the 920-meter long Shyok Tunnel built on the Darbuk-Shyok-Daulat Beg Oldie Road in Ladakh, Galwan Memorial, and projects in other states including Kashmir, Rajasthan, and Chandigarh.
