Shellie Ray Harrington wants to provide a Christmas gift to every resident in all of Monroe County’s seven nursing homes this year.

Harrington has operated Ray 4 Hope , her “Adopt a Grandparent” program, for the last six years. Each year, her family and volunteers raise money to purchase a gift bag and about five small gifts for each resident.
