Hyderabad: The ongoing underground power cable works at Sri Ram Nagar on the Yousufguda-Borabanda stretch ended up causing significant traffic disruptions on Sunday.

Incidentally, this is the only stretch where hundreds of commuters proceed from Yousufguda check-post to reach Mothi Nagar, Kalyan Nagar Venture II and III, Borabanda, and Rahamath Nagar, and vice versa.

In view of the cable work, the traffic police barricaded the route at Kalyan Nagar Venture-III and diverted the city buses and policemen
