A New Jersey lottery player won $2 million in the Saturday, Dec. 6 Powerball drawing after matching all five white balls and selecting the Power Play option, according to the NJ Lottery website.
The winning numbers were 13, 14, 26, 28, 44, and the Powerball was 7. The Match-5 prize normally pays $1 million, but Power Play doubled the payout to $2 million.
The winner has not yet been announced. The New Jersey Lottery is urging players to check their tickets and follow the prize-claim procedures.
The estimated jackpot for the drawing was $841 million, with a cash value of $388.1 million.
