President Donald Trump is again stumping for Roger Clemens to get in the MLB Hall of Fame.

A Hall of Fame vote turned into political fireworks this weekend after President Donald Trump once again jumped online to pressure baseball’s decision-makers to finally put Roger Clemens in Cooperstown.

With the Contemporary Era Committee set to reveal its Class of 2026 selections Sunday night, Trump took to Truth Social and unloaded a full-throated push for Clemens — a seven-time Cy Young winner who has never been elected because of longstanding concerns over alleged performance-enhancing drug use.

“The Baseball Hall of Fame Committee is voting on admitting new Members TOMORROW,” Trump wrote, urging committee members to “do the right thing by finally putting Roger Clemens, known as ‘The Rocket,’ in the Hall!”

Clemens, who debuted with Boston in 1984, spent two years in Toronto and joined the Yankees in 1999, is considered one of the most dominant pitchers of his era.

But he has repeatedly fallen short of the 75 percent needed for Hall induction, overshadowed by accusations from baseball’s steroid era.

Trump argued those allegations were never proven and pointed to Clemens’ 2012 acquittal on federal charges that he lied to Congress about using performance-enhancing drugs.

“He never tested positive,” Trump wrote, calling Clemens’ continued exclusion “a total travesty.”

He added that Clemens “may have the best pitching record (354 wins versus 184 losses), all told, in the History of Baseball,” and urged the Hall of Fame and commissioner to “do the right thing… IMMEDIATELY!”

The stakes are especially high this year. Under a new rule, any player who fails to receive at least five votes from the Contemporary Era Committee will not return to the ballot next cycle.

Candidates get only two appearances; fall under five votes twice, and their Hall of Fame chances are gone for good.

Clemens is on a ballot that also includes Barry Bonds, Carlos Delgado, Jeff Kent, Don Mattingly, Dale Murphy, Gary Sheffield, and Fernando Valenzuela.

Clemens played more than 20 years in the majors, winning 354 games and playing in six World Series, winning two — numbers Trump highlighted in his push.

“Roger is clearly one of the Greatest Pitchers of All Time,” he wrote, adding that Clemens earned the nickname “The Rocket” early in his career "because of his blazing fastball.”

The Contemporary Era Committee, which evaluates players from 1980 to 2000, meets every three years. The next cycle will be for the 2029 Hall of Fame class, meaning this may be Clemens’ last realistic shot.

Clemens was denied election to the Hall for 10 straight years by the Baseball Writers' Association of America, with his final ballot appearance coming in 2022, his last year of eligibility under the traditional rules.

Now, his fate is in the hands of the Contemporary Era Committee.

Results will be announced at 7:30 p.m. ET on MLB Network, with streaming on Fubo.
