HERRIN, Ill. (KFVS) - A drug house in Williamson County, Illinois is closed for business, authorities say.
According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, a man living at a home in the 400 block of N. 11th Street in Herrin was the suspect in an ongoing methamphetamine trafficking investigation.
Over the course of the operation, the sheriff’s office said the suspect sold meth to undercover deputies multiple times.
As a result, the deputies received a warrant and searched the home on Wednesday night, December 4. They found meth, drug paraphernalia, cash and other items commonly used in the illegal narcotics trade.
The suspect, Joel J. Copley, was cited for delivery of meth, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Williamson County Jail.
