UNC basketball is set to play Georgetown at the Smith Center for the first time in 22 years.

Ranked No. 17 in the USA TODAY Sports coaches poll and No. 16 in the AP Top 25 poll, the Tar Heels (7-1) are back in Chapel Hill for a throwback game against the Hoyas (6-2) in Hubert Davis’ fifth season as head coach.

UNC announced Dec. 4 that it would be wearing its retro jerseys from the 1980s, likely a nod to the 1981-82 squad, which beat Georgetown in that season's national championship. If the Tar Heels beat the Hoyas, they’ll have beaten Kansas, Kentucky and Georgetown in the same season for the first time since that title-winning campaign under coach Dean Smith.
