UConn football is headed to Fenway.
The Huskies have accepted a bid to play in the Wasabit Bowl against Army on Dec. 27.

"We're honored to accept the invitation to return to the Wasabi Fenway Bowl. Last year's experience was memorable—our victory over North Carolina, combined with our incredible fanbase helping set a Fenway Bowl attendance record, showed what UConn football is all about" said interim head coach Gordon Sammisin a news release.
The bowl invitation at Fenway is the second in a row after back-to-back nine-win seasons under Jim Mora. Mora left for Colorad State after the end of the last regular season.
On Saturday, UConn named Jason Candle as the next head football coach of the Huskies.
