PORT ARTHUR, Texas — The Port Artur Memorial Titans took down the Barbers Hill Eagles 48-35 Saturday night at Doggett Family Stadium to advance to the Texas High School Football State Semi-Finals.

Saturdays game was the first time since 2011 that the Titans had made it to the Regional Finals round, and while things looked dicey for a while, they ultimately sent their fans home happy.

Last nights game served as a district rematch with the Eagles looking to get revenge after the Titans routed them 34-6 in week 7 of the season, and for a while it looked like they just might.
