Dan Quinn said tonight’s shutout/blowout loss to the Minnesota Vikings was unacceptable. He thought the team took a step forward last week in their overtime loss to the Broncos, but they took three steps back today in a 31-0 loss. Jayden Daniels landed hard on his left elbow while pursuing a Vikings defender who had just picked him off. Quinn said Daniels could have returned to the game, but he made the call to keep him on the sidelines after the Vikings went up 17-0 in the 3rd quarter.
Zach Ertz also left the game due to injury, but he had to be carted to the back after taking a hard hit to his knee. Quinn said they fear it’s a serious injury, and could be a torn ACL. That would end his season, and possibly the career of the 35 year-old veteran TE.
