Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham was busted open after he copped an elbow from a rival just above his right eye.

The incident occurred during the second half of Los Blancos' surprise 2-0 loss at home against Celta Vigo on Sunday.

How was Jude Bellingham cut?

As Bellingham challenged Celta's Borja Iglesias for the ball, the latter caught the England international with his left elbow.

Blood immediately trickled from Bellingham's face, with the star midfielder forced to undergo treatment on the sideline from Madrid's medical staff.

However, to add insult to injury, Bellingham was greeted with a yellow card from the referee after he returned to play.

Bellingham was booked because he entered the field despite the referee not signalling for him to come back on.
