Honolulu Ocean Safety this morning rescued a teen paddler who was severely seasick in waters outside Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve.
At 10:40 a.m. today, Honolulu Ocean Safety was alerted to a distressed paddler who was located approximately 100 yards off shore of the bay.
Rescuers transported her to shore to tower 3A inside Hanauma Bay where Honolulu Fire Department assisted.
The teen’s care was transferred to the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services.
