BAR HARBOR, Maine — Across Maine, local artists are looking to showcase their work before the new year. On Sunday, dozens of craftsmen were in Bar Harbor sharing their work at the Island Arts Association's annual holiday craft fair.

"I really like the flame-painted copper," Heather Ingraham, the co-founder of Earth Harbor Jewelry, said while admiring her work.

The self-taught artist uses locally sourced materials and sterling silver to craft each piece of jewelry.

"No lessons, just a lot of YouTube university happening and a lot of equipment over the years,” Ingraham explained about her technique.

Ingraham brought nearly one hundred pieces of handcrafted jewelry to the fair in Bar Harbor this weekend.
