CLEVELAND, Ohio — Despite the best performance of his young career, Shedeur Sanders could not lead the Browns to a comeback as they lost to the Titans, 31-29, on Sunday .
Tennessee came into the game having only won once prior to Sunday.
Sanders completed 23 of 42 passes for 364 yards, three touchdowns and an interception for a traditional quarterback rating of 97.7. He also rushed for a TD and accounted for two scores in the fourth quarter with his team down by 14.
But the Browns failed consecutive two-point conversions to try and tie the game. On the second of those two, Sanders came off the field and a trick play with Quinshon Judkins in the Wildcat did not work.
