Launched and overseen by Sir Roger Daltrey since 2000, the Teenage Cancer Trust gigs are an annual music highlight at the Royal Albert Hall.

Cancer kills more teenagers and young adults in the UK than any other disease, and Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to providing specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer, funding specialist nurses, youth workers and 28 hospital units within the NHS.

It is a fine cause and each year the shows have featured some incredible names getting behind the cause. While Daltrey remains an Honorary Patron, last year he stepped down as curator of the bill, which will now be looked after by a succession of guest curators.
