EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Jury selection starts this week in the trial of a man accused of murdering an Evansville firefighter.
As we’ve previously reported, 46-year-old Larry Richmond is charged with the killing of firefighter Robert Doerr.
Doerr was shot to death at his home in 20-19.
Elizabeth Fox-Doerr, Robert’s widow, was sentenced last year to 90 years in prison for murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Richmond’s trial, originally scheduled for May was moved after he requested a new judge.
Jury selection starts on Thursday.
And the trial is set to begin Monday, December 15th.
