HAMPTON — Sonny Vasquez is providing some New Orleans warmth to chilling Seacoast evenings with a winter pop-up version of his North of NOLA menu, served hot and tasty for a few weeks at his family’s Ginger and Clove Cafe .
Vasquez’s wife, Cassy, and his sister-in-law, Angelica Spinelli, opened the doors of their 881 Lafayette Road breakfast and lunch café in 2021. After spending their careers in the food service industry all over the country, the sisters realized their dream of having a restaurant together, serving treats like Black Forest French toast, sweet and spicy wet burritos, and Gorgonzola/mushroom burgers, often cooked by Vasquez.
